Getting a registered Sims 2 Double Deluxe activation code off of an online account?

My son bought the “Sims 2 Double Deluxe” game from Staples Depot last year. It was registered on the OFFICIAL Sims 2 website where he has an account. During the registration process, the activation code was saved somewhere onto the online account. He’s played the game numerous times, but then we sent his laptop in for repair the technician erased all of the programs & documents.
We received the laptop back and my son proceeded to install the game. Unfortunately I remember throwing out the little manual that had the activation code… and he needs it to re-install. Thankfully, since the game was registered with the activation code, I’m fixed that the account has it stored somewhere that we can get it… he’s bugging me to buy him a new game, but I’m determined to try everything else first!
Does anyone know where the activation code could be stored on the online account? I’m on the verge of contacting technical support if I can’t find a way. Please help!!

•Go to www.ea.com and select your region.
•Enter your username and password. This is the same username and password as you use to log into the Sims2 official site to get to the BBS or the Exchange.
•Click on ‘My Account’
•Enter your username and password again. You may have to enter your password twice for security.
•Click on the ‘My Games’ tab.
•You will see a list of all the games you have registered, plus the registration codes.
