Can I reset my computer after virus and lockout due to copyright infringement?
I bought my computer with almost no antivirus software. It occasionally says I am getting a virus but I usually ignore it. Then it startded spazzing out and like forcing me to download a trial version of antivirus software so it started scanning and then found a bunch of viruses so then I exited it.I kept trying to stop it but then I logged out and then logged back in and it said it found uncopyrighted music which is true because I do have limewire. But now I can’t get into my computer and it says I am going to get a subopena in a week. I am scared but I am wondering if I can take it into a laptop repair shop and reset the whole hard drive by deleting evrything as if it was a new computer.
