Can I use a Toshiba laptop charger with my IBM ThinkPad?
Hi there — I left my charger on vacation and I have an old Toshiba charger. I checked out the specs on the back and some are the same, some a bit different. Can I use it? Will I cause harm if I do?

No, is my opinion.
Usually you can share chargers if its within one brand, but since Toshiba and IBM are totally different, its better not to.
Also, most likely the plug may not fit.
If you do plug it in, the main concern is burning your mother board since there are resisters that will prevent damage to other circuits. But this is bad enough.
