When downloading movie torrents, is it always best to go with higher pixels, both height and width?
forgive me for sounding naive or even a bit ignorant but… does it make sense that downloading a torrent file that has HIGHER width/height pixel rating, the better the ‘pic’ will be?
is this also the same as the ‘resolution’ rating?
are there any other factors to look at when picking what uploader to download from for better picture quality aside from these ‘pixel/resolution’ ratings? (i’ve found that aXXo, FxM, FXG and few files from noir to be the best but now am interested in picking the ‘better’ torrent file when more than one of the uploaders releases the same movie)

Not necessarily, lots of times, movies can be enlarged to higher resolutions which can produce poor quality. It depends on the movie format and how the movie was encoded.
I have found Xvid to be best quality.
